## FAQ

### Is the free launch really free?

Yes, forever. Every approved product gets a permanent page and a link to your site, and goes live on the home page as soon as we've reviewed it.

### How long does review take?

Every launch is reviewed by hand. Free launches are reviewed in the order they arrive, usually within a week. Premium launches are reviewed within 24 hours.

### How do I get a dofollow link on a free launch?

Every free launch gets one: the badge is required to launch for free. You link to us, we link back with a dofollow link. Copy the snippet from the submit form, paste it into your homepage or footer as plain HTML, and press Verify. We read your page, and once it's found you can submit. We re-check it about once a week, and if the badge has been gone for a few days the link goes back to nofollow. Premium launches are always dofollow, with no badge needed.

### Why isn't my badge verifying?

Check that the badge is in the HTML your site serves (a link added only by JavaScript can't be seen), that it isn't hidden or marked nofollow, and that your site doesn't block IndieLaunchBot. Then press Verify again. If the badge later goes missing for a few days, your link goes back to nofollow.

### What does Featured mean?

A Premium launch is pinned at the top of the home page, above every free launch, for at least 7 days after it goes live. Pinned launches are listed newest first.

### Is Premium a subscription?

No, it's a one-time payment per launch. Early launches cost less, and the price only goes up as spots sell: $2.99 for the first 10, $4.99 for the next 10, $9.99 for the next 10, then $19.99.

### How fast does Premium go live?

We review Premium launches within 24 hours, and it goes live as soon as it's approved, pinned at the top.

### What if my product isn't approved?

We'll tell you why. If a Premium launch is rejected, we refund the payment in full.

### How do ad prices work?

Banners are $4.99 for a week or $8.99 for a month, both one-time payments that don't renew automatically. A list ad is $4.99 for each launch week you choose (up to 6 in one booking), one ad per week. These are launch prices and will go up as IndieLaunch grows, but you keep the price you booked at.

### Can I upgrade after submitting for free?

Yes, while it's still in review. Open your product page and choose Upgrade to Premium.
