Your whole school, in one place. Every module reads from one student record, so you don't re-type a child's details for admissions, fees, attendance, exams and certificates.

What works today: - Admissions and enquiries - Student records, with Excel import of up to 5,000 students (and an undo) - Fee collection by cash, UPI, cheque, card, bank transfer or draft, with numbered receipts, concessions, fines and email fee reminders - Student and staff attendance, including QR gate attendance, monthly registers and leave requests - A timetable with automatic school bells and cover suggestions - Report cards: CBSE 8-point grades, or percentage and division for ICSE and state boards - TC, bonafide and other certificates, and QR student ID cards - Notice board, library and visitor log

Scoolin runs in any phone or computer browser. Mobile apps are coming soon. English-only for now.

## Features

- **Student records**: Enter a child once at admission; fees, attendance, marks and library records use the same student record.
- **Fee collection**: Record cash, UPI, cheque, card, bank transfer or draft payments, issue numbered receipts and email reminders to families who owe.
- **Attendance and gate scans**: Use QR scans at the gate or let teachers tap absent children; leave updates the register.
- **Timetable and school bells**: Ring periods from the timetable, keep bells quiet on holidays, check clashes and suggest cover for absent teachers.
- **Board report cards**: Use CBSE’s 8-point grades, percentage and division for ICSE and state boards, or a custom grading scale.
- **Exports and printing**: Print receipts, report cards and transfer certificates in the school’s name and export lists as spreadsheets.

## FAQ

### Can schools move from Excel or old software?

Yes. Schools can fill the Excel template Scoolin makes and import up to 5,000 students at once. The import can be undone, and Scoolin can help with the first import.

### Who can see the school’s data?

Only staff given access can see it, and each person sees only their part. Each school’s data is kept apart from other schools, and data can be exported at any time.

### Does Scoolin work on a phone?

Yes. Scoolin works in any phone’s browser, so there is nothing to install. Phone apps for parents and teachers are coming.

### Is Scoolin available in Hindi?

Not yet. Scoolin is in English today.

### Can it print CBSE and state-board report cards?

Yes. CBSE’s 8-point grades come ready, with percentage and division for state boards and ICSE. A whole section can be printed at once.

### What does Scoolin cost?

It is free for schools with up to 100 students. Above that, the site states ₹5 per student each month, ₹3 for each student above 500, and 30% less when paying for a year.
