Power Hopper helps Texans in deregulated areas shop for electricity. For homes it's automated: enter a ZIP code, compare available fixed-rate plans, read each plan's Electricity Facts Label, and enroll online with no sales calls. Business and commercial accounts are handled personally by owner Brent Ward, who reviews usage, contract timing, and options. Why did I build this? I'm a Texas electricity broker based in Haslet. Shopping for a home plan shouldn't take a sales call, so I automated the residential side: ZIP in, plans and EFLs out. Business accounts are different, so those still get a person: me.
