SuccessionKeeper

Most people know where their financial accounts are. The harder question is whether somebody else would know where to start.

SuccessionKeeper is a UK-built private financial inventory for recording where bank accounts, pensions, investments, insurance policies, property records and important documents are held. It does not connect to banks or financial providers, does not require provider passwords and cannot move money.

Users nominate the people who should receive the information if needed and choose how often SuccessionKeeper checks in. If they stop responding, a controlled-release process begins: the primary nominee tries to reach them first, and only if the full process completes without a response is a structured summary released. Nominees never get access to the account.
