EU-Startups is a publication about the European startup scene that also runs a directory of European startups.
Best for: startups based in Europe.
Visit EU-StartupsWhat EU-Startups does for a launch
A directory is the slow, permanent kind of listing: a page about your product that stays up, gets indexed and keeps being found by people searching for tools like yours. One listing won't change much on its own; a dozen relevant ones get a new site discovered and understood.
How to get listed on EU-Startups
- Check that EU-Startups lists your kind of product before you write anything; directories reject products outside their focus.
- Create an account and find the submit or "add product" page.
- Choose the most specific category that fits. Broad categories bury you under hundreds of listings.
- Write the description for someone searching: what it does and who it's for in the first line, then the main features.
- If EU-Startups lets you name competitors or tools you replace, add them. That's how people searching for those tools find you.
- Come back when your product changes and update the listing: a stale description is worse than none.
Tips for EU-Startups
- Only European startups fit; mention your city and country in the listing.
What to prepare before you submit
You'll paste the same things into every launch platform and directory, so write them once:
- A tagline under 60 characters that says what it does (see how to write a product tagline).
- A description under 160 characters, plus a longer one of two or three short paragraphs.
- A square logo (at least 256×256) and three or four screenshots at the same size.
- Your pricing in one line, including whether there's a free plan.
- A spreadsheet of where you submitted, the listing URL and whether the link is followed.

Frequently asked questions
- Is listing on EU-Startups free?
- Many directories have a free listing with paid upgrades for a featured spot or faster review. What EU-Startups charges, and what you get for it, changes over time, so check its submit page.
- Does a EU-Startups listing help SEO?
- Modestly. A listing helps a new site get discovered and indexed and gives search engines and AI assistants consistent facts about your product. Whether the link to you is dofollow depends on EU-Startups's current policy; check a live listing.
- How long until my EU-Startups listing is live?
- Anything from minutes to weeks, depending on whether EU-Startups reviews submissions by hand and how long its queue is. Submit early in your launch plan so the listing is up when you need it.
IndieLaunch isn't affiliated with EU-Startups. What's here comes from its own site, checked October 18, 2026; prices and policies change, so check before you submit. Our full list is in the startup directories guide.
