How to use it
- Paste your landing page's address.
- Pick a preset (X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Product Hunt, IndieLaunch, email) or fill in source, medium and campaign yourself.
- Copy the link and use it wherever you share. Keep the same naming every time so reports group cleanly.
What you get
- utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and the optional utm_term and utm_content.
- Keeps any query string your link already has, and replaces old utm_ values instead of doubling them.
- Warns about spaces and capital letters, which split one channel into several rows in most analytics tools.

Frequently asked questions
- What are UTM parameters?
- UTM parameters are tags added to the end of a link, like ?utm_source=x&utm_medium=social. Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Plausible and Fathom read them to record where a visitor came from. They don't change the page the link opens.
- Which UTM fields do I need?
- utm_source (the site or platform, like x or indielaunch), utm_medium (the kind of channel, like social, email or referral) and utm_campaign (your name for the push, like launch-week). utm_term and utm_content are optional, for telling apart keywords or two links in the same post.
- Do UTM links hurt SEO?
- Not when the page has a canonical tag pointing at its clean address, which most sites and frameworks add. Use UTM links for the places you share by hand, not for links between your own pages: those would reset the visitor's original source.
- Should UTM values be lowercase?
- Yes. Most analytics tools treat "X" and "x" as different sources, so mixed case splits one channel into several rows. Use lowercase and dashes instead of spaces.
