Scora analyzes your video and generates royalty-free background music that follows each scene and story moment, so creators get a custom soundtrack without hunting through stock libraries. Free plan available; paid plans from $19/month.

What Scora does

  • Automatic transcription: Transcribes the video's audio so subtitles are not required for scoring or speech-aware mixing.
  • Mood and moment analysis: Maps hooks, emotional peaks, shifts, and segment energy to determine where music should change.
  • Royalty-free music library: Matches tracks from a curated catalog using BPM, key, mood, and energy.
  • AI music generation: Composes original instrumental scores synced to each video segment.
  • Speech-aware ducking: Lowers music under speech and brings it back up during gaps and transitions.
  • Video and audio export: Downloads the finished video, soundtrack as an MP3, and a visual analysis report.

Who it's for

Video creators, YouTube channels, podcasters, course creators, marketers, and teams that need background music without manually searching, trimming, and mixing tracks.

Why people use Scora

Choosing, timing, and mixing background music takes editing time and can create licensing concerns, especially when music must follow scene changes and stay under speech.

Scora reads a video's transcript, mood, and key moments, then places royalty-free library music or generates an original score segment by segment, with automatic ducking under speech.

Scora starts from the video and returns a finished scored video, rather than providing an audio track that still needs to be trimmed and synced manually.

Scora FAQ

What does Scora do?
Scora analyzes a video and places royalty-free or AI-composed music that changes with the scenes and sits under speech. It returns the scored video and the soundtrack as an MP3.
Is Scora free?
The Free plan requires no card and includes 5 videos per month, up to 10 minutes each, scored from the curated royalty-free library. The first short video, up to 3 minutes, also gets a free AI-score trial.
Is the music royalty-free?
Yes. Soundtracks Scora composes or matches are cleared for commercial use, including monetization, on any platform, with no attribution required. The music cannot be resold or redistributed as standalone audio.
Do I need subtitles?
No. Scora transcribes audio automatically, and transcription is multilingual. An .srt file is optional and can skip transcription.
What do I get after scoring a video?
You get the video with the soundtrack mixed in, the soundtrack alone as an MP3, and a visual report showing the mood timeline and music changes.
Does Scora work on a phone?
Yes. Scora is a web app with nothing to install. Uploads on mobile networks can resume if the connection drops, and notifications can be enabled when the score is ready.
