TallyClip turns messy bank-statement PDFs into structured Excel/CSV files ready for bookkeeping or QuickBooks Online import. Built for bookkeepers, accountants, and small businesses who waste hours retyping statements. A focused SaaS for converting bank statements into clean, import-ready data—without the spreadsheet grind.

What TallyClip does

  • Statement extraction: Extract dates, descriptions, amounts, debit or credit direction and available balances from PDFs and readable scans.
  • Multiple export formats: Download Excel, CSV, QBO, QFX, QIF or IIF files for spreadsheet and accounting workflows.
  • Balance checks: Compare transaction totals with printed opening and closing balances when those balances are available.
  • Review and correction: Inspect processing results, investigate warnings and manually review or correct extracted data.
  • Batch uploads: Registered accounts can upload multiple files in a batch and merge selected completed results into Excel or CSV.
  • Private file workspace: Uploaded statements and results are kept in private storage with workspace permission checks and defined retention periods.

Who it's for

Independent bookkeepers, accounting teams and people who need to turn bank-statement files into data for spreadsheet or accounting workflows.

Why people use TallyClip

Bank statements often contain transaction data locked in PDFs or scans, making it difficult to review, reconcile and import into another tool.

TallyClip extracts transaction rows from statement files, performs consistency and balance checks, and provides downloadable spreadsheet or accounting-file formats.

The site emphasizes file-based conversion without bank login, with source comparison, available-balance checks and warnings for missing or inconsistent data.

TallyClip FAQ

What does TallyClip convert?
It extracts transaction information from bank statements and turns it into structured rows that can be reviewed and downloaded in spreadsheet or accounting-file formats.
Which export formats are supported?
TallyClip supports Excel (.xlsx), CSV, QBO, QFX, QIF and IIF exports.
What is included in free access?
Guests and free accounts can process up to 10 pages per UTC day for 10 consecutive days from the first accepted upload. Full results and supported downloads are included during that period.
Can TallyClip read scanned statements?
Readable English scanned PDFs are supported through OCR. Low resolution, skew, handwriting or unclear text can reduce extraction quality, so results should be compared with the original.
Do I need to connect my bank account?
No bank login is required. TallyClip processes uploaded statement documents rather than connecting directly to a bank.
How accurate is the conversion?
TallyClip does not publish a measured field-level accuracy rate. Users should compare downloaded rows with the original statement and investigate processing warnings.
Can multiple statements be uploaded at once?
Registered accounts can upload up to 50 files per batch, subject to a 100 MB total limit and file limits. Guests can upload one PDF at a time.
How do paid plans differ?
Starter includes 500 pages monthly, Business includes 1,500 pages and Enterprise includes 5,000 pages. Each plan includes the listed exports, batch uploads, checks and private storage.
